The Manaslu Circuit is wonderful alternative to the Annapurna Circuit which has become somewhat crowded as it’s popularity has increased over the years,This trek is a bit more remote and somewhat more rugged. It is only in the last few years started to catch on with trekkers as new Tea Houses have now sprung up throughout the circuit, and so it is a lot less crowded.As of this year (2019) there is even a new Tea House at the foot of the Larke La (at Dharamasala) which makes your last night before the long climb over the 5106 m (16,752 ft) pass much more comfortable than in the past.There are amazing views along the way including Manaslu mountain at 8,156 m (26,795 ft). The 8th highest mountain in the world.And the day spent crossing the Larke La is filled with massive mountains and several glaciers in close proximity.
